We are fascinated by the proliferation of Bowl Games and wondered why Football end of season was so very different from Basketball in the college world. This article “McCollum’s Column: Quick Takes on the Wave of Upcoming Bowl Games” gave us the summary we so badly needed.
There are 35 Bowl games in a span of 3 short weeks. Throw in the “holiday” and finals and other end of the year pressures and commitments and you may wonder exactly how these teams manage to be competition ready.
We understand that football teams, just like good sales teams have to practice and remain focused. Often times sales teams will have an activity sheet they use to stay on track. We suppose that is a bit like the playbooks the coaches use to keep the game moving in their own favor.
